Official Responsibilities

The Student Senate Secretary is responsible for keeping the Senate's non-financial records.  The Secretary also takes minutes of all Senate meetings and publicizes them upon their approval by the Senate. The Secretary oversees Senate correspondence and ensures the efficient operation of the Senate's office.  The Secretary is further responsible for recording Senator attendance at Senate and Committee meetings.  The Secretary also supervises the preparation and distribution of course evaluations.  The Secretary is also chair of the Community Action Committee and maintains the Senate web site.

 

Biographical Sketch

Aaron Rubin, CLS '12 is serving his third term as a Student Senator. During his first term, Aaron served on the Student Organization Recognition Committee and the Student and Academic Affairs Committee. During his second term, Aaron served on the Student Organization Recognition Committee, the Housing & Facilities Committee, and the By-Laws Committee.
